La Promeneuse, the new little beauty by Cire Trudon

Who does not like home scents? I’ve discovered a short time ago this novelty by Cire Trudon, one of my favorite candle, fragrances and déco brands. A french label dating from the seventeenth century, it has already been the official supplier of the Château de Versailles until the French revolution. The big new is La Promeneuse, a kind of modern lamp in which we burn a scented wax, but attention, all in style! It was designed by Pauline Deltour and hand-made in Italy. What do you think of this babe?

Up for a Christmas tea with Tiger?

I’ve already talked before about danish shop Tiger here (in Portuguese), which I love so much. They have all kind of daily stuff we love for home, kids, adults and eternal kids 🙂 This Christmas moodboard is just to show you a little my winter spirit in this Holidays season.  <3 Tiger are fortunatelly distributed in all Europe (in France they are present in 5 cities: Aix-en-Provence, Cagnes-sur-mer, Lille, Nice, Marseille), thank God 🙂 But when in Paris, pleeeease? To go along with it in this Holiday season, the Betjeman & Barton Christmas tea,  a creation of the historic French house. It consists of a tea from Ceylon and China, along with essential fruit oils with an unique blend of flavors: caramel, maraschino cherry, pineapple and a sweet orange tip. A tea to put under the tree! Take a tour at: http://www.tiger-stores.fr/ and Betjeman & Barton.

La Réserve: a chic five-star address near Champs Elysées

I’ve been visiting a charming five star-hotel recently opened near Champs Elysées, La Réserve. As always, palace hotels in Paris are like being home: you have this comfy situation as you were in underwear and socks under the blankets chez toi but with the difference you are surrounded by a free-bar, a grand piano in your room  and the Tour Eiffel just at the window. Pas mal! Starting with the rooms, where we can find as I said before, a grand piano, bright colors, a big screen TV (which you make it go out only if you want, otherwise it is hidden in a furniture), one of the most cosy bathroom I’ve ever seen before and a free-bar (yes, it exists!).      Then we have, in the ground floor, this absolutely fabulous green leisure/reading/ library room with charming fashion, architecture and déco books in five languages, which is just fantastic! And to complete, a free-bar, based on the honesty of the clients who can write down in a notebook what they have consumed (or not, …

Astier de Villatte faiences

Astier de Villatte, this lovely Parisian faience brand, is just one of my favorites french déco labels. They make these non-perfect objects like jars, ashtrays, incense holders, dishes, furnitures that are just amazing and cult kind of pieces. Founded by two buddies from École de Beaux-Arts some years ago, they sorted out this charming collaboration with Villa Médicis: candle, notebooks and incense make part of the collection.       Is this way : http://www.astierdevillatte.com
